【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsfortherepairofdiagonalplyandradialplypneumatictyresformotorcycles,scooters,carsandcommercialvehicles,primarilydesignedforuseonthepublichighwayandfirstusedafter3January1933.Itspecifiesinspectionprocedures,performancecriteria,repairmaterials,andmarkingrequirements,forbothtubedandtubelesstyres.Requirementsforrepairingtubesandinflationvalvesarealsoincluded.ThisBritishStandarddoesnotapplyto:a)tyresdesignedforuseonpre-1933vehicles,astheirdesignandconstructionmaybeuniqueandoutsidetherangeoftyresincurrentuse;b)T-typetemporaryusesparetyres;c)temporaryrepairs;d)useofliquidsealantsintroducedintotubedortubelesstyrestoremaketheairretentionproperty(seeclause10);e)tyresforuseonagriculturalmotorvehicles,agriculturaltrailersoragriculturaltrailedappliances;f)tyrescontainingsealantgel(refertothemanufacturerforrepairinformation);g)specialistrepairscarriedoutbytheoriginaltyremanufacturer.
