【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationincludesrequirementsforsafe-useinstructionsandlabelingtominimizethehazardstousersofrecreationalpoweredscootersandpocketbikes.Thisspecificationisintendedtocoversafetyinstructions,labeling,andmaintenanceforproductsfor:1.1.1Childrenageeighttotwelveforunitslimitedtospeeds16km/h(10miles/h)orless,and1.1.2Childrenage13andaboveforfast-movingunitscapableofachievingspeedsof>16km/h(>10miles/h).1.2Thisspecificationisintendedtoreducehazards,otherthanthoseinherenttotheusersoftheseunitsduringnormalintendeduseandwithinmanufacturersx2019;safetyguidelines.1.3Thisspecificationisnotintendedfornonpoweredscooters(ConsumerSafetySpecificationF2264),batterypoweredride-ontoys(ConsumerSafetySpecificationF963),motorcycles,skateboards,allterrainvehicles(ATVs),go-karts(PracticeF2007),fun-karts(SafetyGuideF1928),snowmobiles,motorizedtrailbikes,lawnmowers,ormotorizedwheelchairsincludingmobilityscooters.1.4Thisspecificationisnotintendedforunitsdesignedforx201C;AdultUseOnlyx201D;andthatareprominentlylabeledandmarkedassuch.1.5Thisspecificationisnotintendedforunitsdesignedorlicensedforroadwayuseorregulatedbytransportationregulations(thatis,DepartmentofTransportation(DOT)orstate).1.6ThevaluesgiveninSIunitsaretobeconsideredasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
